Automatic die lip adjustment through push and pull mechanism of thermal bolts. Applications that demand faster response and even greater precision to die adjustments. e.g. Coating & Lamination extrusion dies.




Thermal Bolts are extrusion die conversion kits for Extrusion Die OEM’s and End Users with existing manual Dies.

Applications include:

Flat Extrusion Dies for Film and Sheet (PP, PE, PET, PVC, PS, HIPS, ABS etc..) Extrusion Coating & Lamination Dies BOPP and BOPET Dies Cast Film Dies.

Technical Specifications

Heated steel bolts expand depending on the controlled heating power and this moves the die lip according to the thickness control. The heated steel bolts are in a cooling air flow. The heating cartridges inside the bolts are regulated by a controller.
